Several of my grandchildren came to us from an orphanage in Uganda. It is a wonderful place and I support it so I am happy to help this orphanage in Guatemala.
I lived in Guatemala, and I know how desperate the living conditions are for the majority of the people, they have so little, we don’t have orphanagesbin this country, the Guatemalans can’t take care of any extra so at least there are orphanages to take the children in ,we need to do whatever we can to help, them,if you do it unto the least of these ,Jesusnsaid we were doing it for Him
What is this? Is this who I donated to at time of check out?
I love shopping at Treehouse not only for the unique gifts they carry and for the great Christmas music they play while I shop but also I love that they ask if I want to round up my purchase amount the next dollar in support of The Guatemala Orphanage. You see I have a very special reason for wanting to support this cause as God has blessed my husband and I with the gift of being Grandma and Grandpa to a very special young lady. Our Granddaughter Tessa was adopted by a member of our former church. We were really more like family than friends so when she asked if we would like to be "Grandparents" to Tessa since her parents (the Mom) were already in heaven Tessa wouldn't have a grandma & grandpa to love her here on earth. We were thrilled to be given this role especially since we had no grandchildren of our own. You see Tessa was adopted from an Orphanage in Guatemala. She was just six months old when she came to us and is now 18 and has been blessed with a Christian education for 12 years and will attend a Christian college in the fall. We know God was the reason Tessa came into our lives. We can only imagine the life she would have had growing up in the Orphanage. Therefore, thank you Treehouse Gift & Home for caring about the orphans of Guatemala. Your Christian hearts have helped to safe these children from lives without hope.
I think it’s wonderful that you do this. Myers grandson was adopted from Guatemala.
